HKEX Chairman Laura M. Cha

In her latest interview with Reuters TV, HKEX Chairman Laura M Cha reiterated that investors still have confidence in the Asian financial hub, despite Moody‘s recent downgrade.

Hong Kong’s financial market has held up remarkably well, reflecting its strengths and resiliency across its currency, monetary system, capital flow, and stock market performance, she said.

When asked about the outlook of Hong Kong, she was cautiously optimistic and said HKEX would continue to enhance the quality of the market to ensure Hong Kong is prepared for its future.
