Set against much talk of tariffs, trade wars, tech cold wars and isolationism, HKEX Chief Executive Charles Li was a featured panellist today on the topic of globalization: are we at peak globalization, and what comes next?
Li talked at length about the need for all parts of the world to work together, saying they have great power to confront problems like climate change and inequality if we cooperate and collaborate.
He was joined on the panel by Canadian Small Business Minister, Mary Ng; MasterCard Vice-Chairman, Michael Froman; and Sharan Burrow, General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation.
